UFC World Light Heavyweight Championship: Jones vs Rampage on Sept. 24 2011 at Pepsi Center, Denver, Collorado. It'll be a bloody night but an exciting bloody night for Denver as UFC rocks the state.
It is the first title defense of Jon Jones after the cancellation of his fight last Aug. 26 2011. He was scheduled to defend his title with a bout against Rashad Evans, but due to a hand injury which the doctors suggested for a surgery, Jones was not able to fight. Jon Jones opted not to have a surgery but instead he chose to rest and rehabilitate, which for him in theory will not further damaged his hand injury. The Doctors scheduled Jones full recovery by late 2011, but with an amazing fast healing he was scheduled to fight Quinton Jackson on the 24th of September, 2011.
